BetterCallSlow does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The extension processes audio entirely locally on the user’s device using the browser’s Web Audio API. No audio content, browsing activity, website data, or personally identifiable information is collected or sent to any external server.

Data Storage

• User preferences such as audio speed, reverb level, bass boost, and custom presets are stored locally using the browser’s storage API.
• This data remains on the user’s device and is never transmitted.

Permissions

Requested permissions are used strictly to enable core functionality (detecting active tabs, injecting local audio processing scripts, and applying real-time effects). No permission is used for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

Third Parties

BetterCallSlow does not use third-party analytics, tracking tools, advertisements, or remote code execution.

Remote Code

No remote code is loaded or executed. All functionality is contained within the extension package.
